OUR TEAM
| Curtis Verdi, President/Project Manager |
"Everyday, I get to be proud." |
Curtis Verdi is the founder of Verdi Construction Company, LLC. His experience, professional approach and complete understanding of the construction process have contributed to the successful completion of residential, commercial and industrial projects throughout
Connecticut and portions of New York. He is proud to carry on the tradition of craftsmanship as the second generation of contractors
in the Verdi family. Graduate of Roger Williams University with B.S. in Construction Science and minor in Business Administration.
| Mark Johanning, Project Manager |
"Where Mark goes, calm follows." |
Our senior project manager, Mark Johanning, is the one who makes sure it all happens, no matter what. His projects are unfailingly
on-schedule and within budget. He applies his extensive knowledge of the building business and his patience, thoroughness and
organization to give clients a sense of calm and confidence throughout the process. Most contractors end a project at odds with the
client. Mark ends up as a friend. Graduate of Central CT State Univ. with B.S. in Industrial Technology.
| Chris Westlake, Project Supervisor |
"Attention to details at 100 m.p.h." |
With over fifteen years of experience in both commercial and residential construction, Chris Westlake provides input to the owner and
design team, pertaining to the utilization of innovative construction methods and materials, resulting in cost-savings for the owner.
Chris's ability to expedite a project without sacrificing high quality craftsmanship and subcontractor relations has also enabled Verdi
Construction to grow by maintaining a satisfied client base.
| Douglas Verdi, Project Superintendent |
"Don't worry, Doug's got it covered." |
Douglas Verdi continues to expand the site development division of Verdi Construction from residential to heavy industrial, driveways
to roads and everything in between. Managing several field crews and overseeing Verdi's start-of-the-art fleet of heavy equipment
are only a few of Doug's responsibilities when it comes to building the infrastructure for our projects. His ability to efficiently
self-perform all aspects of excavation not only affords Verdi Construction an advantage in the bidding phase but also allows us to
maintain the safety and aesthetics of each site. While most of Doug's work is ultimately "under ground" we know it's done right...he
guarantees it!
| Essie Kelly, Office Manager |
"Broad shoulders and a big heart." |
As Office Manager, Essie Kelly is the public face of Verdi. Her pleasant demeanor and total command of the administrative side of our
business makes her a friendly and reassuring presence. She easily manages her extensive scope of responsibility, allowing the rest of
our staff to focus on project work.
